OUR VISION

The Intercollegiate U.S.-China Journal is a bilingual, semi-annual academic journal that provides a platform for undergraduate students across the globe to publish interdisciplinary, academically rigorous research. The Journal aims to improve understanding of the United States and China’s domestic and international affairs—including in the fields of security, politics, culture, technology, economics, and the environment. Works published will encompass discussions of the U.S. and China, their relations, and more broadly their respective roles in international affairs. IUCJ partners with research institutions and prominent U.S.-China scholars to uphold its standards of scholarly excellence.

IUCJ is principally an undergraduate journal of U.S.-China affairs. Institutionally independent, we were founded upon the vision of fostering diverse, candid, and rigorous dialogue between universities and cultures alike. We seek to publish revealing scholarship on political trends, cultural transactions, and transnational visions of and between the US and China. As an affiliate of the US - China Better Relations Coalition, our platform facilitates the exposition of innovation perspectives and the intellectual development of aspiring leaders.
