Lucy Wu is a sophomore student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a double major in Media and Journalism and East Asian Studies. She received international education since childhood and grew up in a bilingual environment, mastering Chinese and English. She graduated from UWCSEA (United World College of Southeast Asia) and lived in London, Singapore, Los Angeles, and many other cities throughout her life. She has a diverse background and is currently the publicity committee member of UNC’s Asian American Student Association, which is committed to creating an inclusive community. She believes that globalization integrates economy and technology and cultures' mutual understanding and respect. She aims to promote collaboration between cultures through expertise in media and East Asian studies and firmly believes that she can contribute to building a more open and inclusive global society through her efforts.
