Emily Yang is a first-year student at Wellesley College, potentially majoring in Economics and Political Science. She is from Shanghai, China. As an international student, she is keenly aware of the importance of understanding cross-cultural connections and differences between China and the U.S. She is dedicated to learning more about China-U.S. relations, especially their political economy and public policies, both through classes and communication with colleagues in IUCJ. Her passion in political and moral philosophy prompts her to explore political systems from theoretical perspectives.
