Daniel is a junior at Tufts University studying International Relations with a concentration in international security. Born and raised in Hong Kong, the relationship between the West and China has been of special interest to Daniel, especially in light of recent political developments. Daniel has served as a Managing Editor of his high school paper, and the Politics section editor of an inter-high-school paper. He is continuing to develop editorial experience as an editor at the Tufts Daily and an editor at Hemispheres, Tufts' undergraduate international relations review journal, on top of his position as Associate Editor with the IUCJ. At each of the publications he edited at, Daniel has also written extensively, including developing his own column commenting on geopolitics. He hopes that he can bring this experience to the IUCJ team to help it thrive and explore different dimensions of the US-China relationship, especially at a time of high tensions between the two powers.
